On this trip, I had fun playing tag with fellow cyclists Cyd and Carole (flashing the "peace" sign). It was so nice we wanted to stay, but there was no room in the one kokumin shukusha on the lake - so we headed for the station and home.

Lake Biwa is so big that it's easy to miss the tiny dot of a lake to the north - and in fact I didn't get there on my first trip. Lake Yogo is nothing special, but the roads around the lake are very pleasant, as I found out the second time I cycled in these parts.
