This is Kannoura, the hamlet I mentioned earlier. It caters mainly to fishermen, with several minshuku and ample supplies of bait.
In places the road twists and turns so much you quickly lose your sense of direction. I have no idea which way I was looking when I took this photo. Nice paddies, though.
