Here's the eye-level view. What it lacks in unimpeded access to the scenery it makes up for in the unusual nature of the ride. As with the other bridges, you toss a coin in a basket somewhere along the way - in this case, a 50-yen coin.

The bridges are the spectacular attraction on this route, but the land areas have interesting sights as well. Over the years, I've tried to visually document every way of stacking rice husks, and until this trip I thought I'd succeeded - but this was the first time I'd ever seen World War I German Kaiser helmets guarding the fields.
