This is not a pointillist painting by Georges Seurat, but the cherry petals on the river almost make it look like that.

The road continues south, with the river on one side and a alternating series of small factories and tile-roofed houses on the other. Eventually you get to the main JR line (near Yoshinaga Station). At that point, you’ll need to head east and then south again, through a succession of roads (for example, Route 96 and Route 252) until the Oku Station area just north of Ushimado.
