Hard for me to be sure if the creature in the sign is the rare Okinawan dugong whose habitat would be harmed by the offshore construction of the heliport.

Okinawa also offers bullfights! Not exactly the same as those in Spain: the bulls fight each other, and it's sort of like a sumo tournament. Nevertheless, there are exhibitions where you can see the action.
