Here you see one of the longest bridges - more than 1.4 km long - which is actually a diversion from the main route which goes to Ikei Beach at the end of the last island. One of Okinawa's (surprisingly) few official campgrounds is here.

The views are sometimes magical. Here a number of boulders offshore resemble nothing so much as the stones in a Japanese garden.... which, come to think of it, are supposed to depict islands in the sea. Life imitates art.
