One of the prettier beaches, about midway down the eastern coast. Surprisingly, I saw next to no one swimming, even though the day was quite humid. In Nago, I asked for sunscreen at a convenience store and was surprised to hear "Oh, no, it's not the season yet." This is a marked contrast with Hawaii, where there's not a single day of the year that it's considered too cold to swim.

In other words, I guess it will take another couple of months before these sandy and rocky beaches are packed with bathers. What a waste.
