The coastline alternates between rocky seascapes and beaches like this. The tiny village of Sosogi looked like a nice place to stay, but unfortunately it's too near to Wajima to constitute a day's journey for any but the most leisurely of cyclists.
I loved this little fishing-float family at the entrance to a home along the way.
